Talk about a cowboy who was more famous in death than life. Elmer McCurdy was killed shortly after robbing a train. The heist netted him only $46. However, after his demise, his body was embalmed with arsenic and spent the next 60 years or so appearing in carnival side shows and various wax museums. In 1976, McCurdy's body was discovered on the set of "The Six Million Dollar Man" when a prop fell apart to reveal human tissue.
